I will just say that the past week has been pretty awesome! Although, VERY busy, pretty awesome! I'll just take you through a crazy week...last Friday, my date! I had a date with someone AWESOME! We had a blast going to dinner, a movie and then both of us winning a few games at Fun House on the Riverwalk! I let her win a few things...ha!
Well, Saturday I went to see my dad at The Caravan - his 65th birthday or something - ha! I give him a hard time a lot, but it's only because he REALLY is young to have a 26 year old son, but then there is that 9 year old...well, anyway...after that I went to hang out with Denise Belk for her big 3-0 at the bowling alley! Headed to Full Moon after that, which I was very surprised at - they had a dueling piano set up, but oddly enough closed at 1 am?? Went to hang with Joe, Bryan, Allison, Wetz, T and a few others for a few hours then headed home. It's been a few weeks since I've drank because of this weight loss thing, which has been awesome! Keeping my cash around, driving all the time to my house and sleeping in my bed, enjoying the laugh and all of the other things...it's just been awesome!
Sunday, I kept my commitment to Life Church by attending "Margin," which is the awesome new series at Life right now! I spent my Sunday on my mission to find furniture, a TV and carpet. It's been crazy! I think I have everything down, but of course - that means remorse is on the way!
Monday, I was able to just work and keep it lazy at home.
Tuesday, I went to teach then I took off of work to get a few things accomplished. More details to come, BUT I am just going to say that I'm looking to get an operation done for myself. I have a condition called gynecomastia, which is a condition causing fatty tissue that surrounds my breast area. For a long time, I really didn't want to admit this, but after a lot of confidence from Jake Wetz, a fraternity brother of mine, I was encouraged to at least admit it and figure out what I need to do about it. So Tuesday, I went to get a few consultations done in Tulsa. A little more expensive than I thought, BUT I believe it's going to be worth whatever financing I can get! I will be working that in the next few weeks/months. It's going to take a lot, but I will be getting this in the next year - FOR SURE. I also took myself to RSU for the first night of RUSH this semester. Good times, really. I'm so proud of these guys and what they have been accomplishing. This semester should be awesome!
Wednesday, I worked then had a few things to do at night.
Tonight, Thursday, I took my first full night off this week. I planned to go to RSU, but left a little late from work, so I stayed home. The Office was pretty funny, but because Bryan Walker and I were watching it together, we both couldn't really believe that they were doing flashbacks on their first episode of the new year!
Tomorrow night, I will head to a dinner at RSU for the guys who signed this semester. I just got word that there were 6, which is awesome!! I will also be helping my boss' load their truck to move to Jonesboro on Sunday.
Saturday, I will be working basketball for a bit then taking the Boatman's out to dinner - pretty excited to have a "last supper" with them!
Sunday will be the Boatman's farewell - sucks! Then I will be traveling to UCO to speak at Greek Leadership Institute and have some hang time with Jessica, so that will be awesome!
Next week should be a little more low key...excitement...ha!If you know anyone who is selling furniture or a big screen TV, let me know! I'm down to save a few bucks!
I think I like writing my daily agenda. Although this isn't what people always like to read about, it's a good time for reflection.
