Well, I finished my resolutions last night. There are PLENTY of things that are going to need to change to make possible. I've divided them into Spiritual, Intellectual, Physical, House Domestic and Personal. I will just mention that I have a few projects I would like to work on this year; Painting the kitchen, turn half of the garage into a bedroom, actually put up decorations in my house (right now there are PLAIN walls - ha!), replace my water heater (with the help of my roommate Allison Walker), paint my hallway, buy new furniture for the living room and put drapes on all of the windows. These are going to be some fun, yet exhausting projects that I'm really looking forward to this year!
I've got to take this GRE and start reading more often. When I finished my Masters, I actually started reading quite a bit. It was really easy because I was already in the reading mode, I just transfered that to stuff I wanted to read! Need to get that going. I'm going to start reading fiction and try to read the biographies of Barak Obama, JFK, Walt Disney and Charles Page.
Eating...less...crap...! I'm starting a diet this week that Allison suggested that will help me lose a little bit in a month to get me started, so I'm excited about it. I am really getting back into swimming more, which is awesome! It also helps me with endurance too, which I need!
I've got to see a doctor and dentist this year on a regular basis! I'm paying for insurance - NEED TO USE IT!
Spirituality is going to become a bigger part of my life in 2010, too. I am going to get into another small group study again and start attending, hopefully with those people. I'm making goals to get in the Word a little more often than now and tithing goals...this is something that should have happened when I got a full time job!
I'm going to be planning two big event this year, too! I am planning our Youth of the Year banquet for the Tulsa area clubs and an event that Kiwanis is starting this year called Sandfest. I'm really pumped about these opportunities!
On a side note, I'm really excited that I have AIM and Pandora on my computer at work. I get to listen to music and say hey once and a while to my UCO friends...this really makes the day even better in the middle of craziness!
Tomorrow - TCC Convocation and Communications Division Orientation on Wednesday! Management Meeting and Youth of the Year planning begins!
As I start the new year, I'm pretty pumped about everything to get accomplished!
